London Anarchist Forum held two talks at London Anarchist Bookfair. One of them was a talk by Jocelyn Chaplin about her book “Deep Equallity”. Quality of audio recording is quite poor at the end.

This is a recording of the talk presented at the book club in Conway Hall and the discussion which followed.

Pornography is defined in our society as erotica which is not suitable for women and children. FreedomPorn.org is a porno-site which i have started with the intention to smash this discriminatory attitude. There will not be any capitalist bull-shit on there only consensual, revolutionary, sex-positive smut.

The Freenet Project is very pleased to announce the release of Freenet 0.7.0.

Freenet is software designed to allow the free exchange of information over the Internet without fear of censorship, or reprisal. To achieve this Freenet makes it very difficult for adversaries to reveal the identity, either of the person publishing, or downloading content. The Freenet project started in 1999, released Freenet 0.1 in March 2000, and has been under active development ever since.

Freenet is unique in that it handles the storage of content, meaning that if necessary users can upload content to Freenet and then disconnect. We've discovered that this is a key requirement for many Freenet users. Once uploaded, content is mirrored and moved around the Freenet network, making it very difficult to trace, or to destroy. Content will remain in Freenet for as long as people are retrieving it, although Freenet makes no guarantee that content will be stored indefinitely.

The journey towards Freenet 0.7 began in 2005 with the realization that some of Freenet's most vulnerable users needed to hide the fact that they were using Freenet, not just what they were doing with it. The result of this realization was a ground-up redesign and rewrite of Freenet, adding a “darknet” capability, allowing users to limit who their Freenet software would communicate with to trusted friends. This would make it far more difficult for a third-party to determine who is using Freenet.

Freenet 0.7 also embodies significant improvements to almost every other aspect of Freenet, including efficiency, security, and usability. Freenet is available for Windows, GNU/Linux, and OSX. It can be downloaded from: http://freenetproject.org/download.html.

This is a podcast about podcasting. It has been developing in my head and computer for some time, and here it is. It is done in conjunction with writing a page for Anarchopedia on how to make a podcast.

In any revolutionary movement (or the counter-revolutionary one actually) the concept of “class�? means. I am trying to define the term, and to analise some of the outcomes. Here is my definition:

Class is the non-homogenous sociatal group of people with common pattern of interaction with members of the and other such groups and with the set of common interests.

This is a different type of the episode, it is not really about politics but more about counseling radicals (including myself). We all feel burnt out at times, we all feel like what we do doesn't matter. COINTELPRO and other government programmes can be blamed for some of that, while idiocy needs to be blamed for the rest… I only discuss what we individually can do to counter the negative effects of this form of alienation.

So no matter what you do, keep the struggle going.

This is an incredibly important today, i believe that the protectionist culture has hijacked the movement to oppose the child abuse. In here i will talk about the programme that i propose which will eliminate many different forms child abuse. The basic outline of this programme is the following:

1. Elimination of age from the exemption from the minimal wage.
2. Introduction of industrial education in the education system which teaches safe working experience.
3. Support of sexual education in the education system which teaches safe sexual practices.
4. Lowering and eventual elimination of the age of majority, age of consent, and other age limitations which might exist in the particular legislation.
5. Child custody must be replaced by parental responsibility.
6. Children must be allowed to explore the world under their own terms, this includes travel, choice of reading literature, choice of participatory events and individual actions, choice of religion or lack there-of, choice of spirituality or lack there-of, and other things which are deemed important by the children.
7. Child must have a way to express one's sexuality, gender identity, and other forms of identity in the way that is consistent with that child's desires; as long as those desires do not interfere with lives of others.
8. Children must not be used as pawns by their guardians, teachers, or other adults to achieve the goals those adults see important without an informed consent from the children.
9. Where possible without the threat to child's health, the child must be informed prior to any medical procedure in order to make an informed decision about one's treatment.
10. Ageism must be recognised as a form of discrimination against people of a particular age group.
11. Ableism must be recognised to include the discrimination against the people too young or too old to perform a certain task just as it already includes people with the physical or mental handicaps.

This was only an outline, i explain what i mean by these things in the podcast, so please listen to it prior to commenting. I do wish that you would comment on what i'm saying here.
