Yet another review. This time of “Anarchy 101” by Bob Black.

I've found a great article called “Give up Activism”. This is my take on it, and some thoughts which came from reading it.

Firstly i would like to note that i am not supporting al-Qaddafi by doing this review, so approach this review with the open mind, and understand that there are differences between what the person writes and what one does.

You can read Green Book in English or in Russian, and after that tell me what you think about it.

This podcast has been reviewed by Shelly from Podcast Liberally. Here is what was said:

This is an incredibly creative podcast consisting of the host (and possibly others, I’m not sure, because someone speaks in Russian also) giving us regular “Episodes�? and then in between those, several “poems�?. The poems are the very creative part and range dramatically in topic and length (and language). The Episodes are basically philosophy and politics and news topics from a self-describe anarchist point of view, but what I would describe as European liberal. I mean European liberal because it has a slight edge of “you Americans are different than all of the rest of us�? (and not in a good way) but it’s mostly subtle. I have found Europeans think of Americans this way, but I look forward to hearing more of his opinions not just on world events, politics, family, philosophy, etc., but also of how we Americans appear to the rest of the world. It’s just something he mentions in Episode 50 so it’s not pervasive throughout the podcast.

Many of the episodes are personal thoughts on various things and these “poems�? are creative and hard to describe. Because they are short I recommend you listen to a lot of them. Check out the podcast on libsyn or through the iTunes link. I may very well add to this review as I listen to a few more of the longer Episodes. I’m not sure if this is the logo for the show either, but it’s what I could find. Please correct me if I’m wrong VolodyA_V_A! I will have more to say on this one in the podcast. I definitely recommend you listen to it for a different point of view that isn’t usual American politics.

After reading the story of lyrical terrorist one really doesn't want to write poetry any longer. I mean we, the poets, have always used exaggerations, hyperbolies, and just plain old metaphors to express ourselves. And now somebody comes in and says that this is an act of Terrorism. Really, really bad.

This is more of a rant, and maybe you don't think that this is going on, but i believe that there is an anti-american centiment in the anarchist movement. Here i briefly talk about why this is a bad idea.

The documentary that i have mentioned here is Anarchism in America.

Music came from the Cry 4 Peace, Fight 4 Freedom podcast, and i think it is very relevant to the issue in many ways.

I've recently found the ACLU podcast and there was Unabridged, which is a collection of poetry written and performed by Steve Connell and Sekou (tha misfit) for ACLU. I really find it interesting, so check it out.
