In Russian version of Echo of Freedom, Radical Podcast (Эхо Свободы, Радикальный Подкаст) i have already discussed the issue of the selection of names and what it means politically and socially. But now i have come across a person who has called oneself Bodhislutva on Wikipedia for which one was banned from contributing to the project, and this has energised me to record this episode in English as well.

There are many things which we can learn from examining who, how, and to whom selects what names. Different cultures have done it differently historically and are doing it differently now, there are also quite strong lessons that can be learnt from looking at people refusing people their names and insisting that some incorrect name is actually their "real" name.

I don't make many suggestions or demands in this episode, mostly i am raising issues and asking questions based on the history. Due to that i would be glad if you leave your comments and let me know what you think.

Когда я начинаю эпизод, я обычно говорю: "Революционные приветствия, спасибо за то, что вы слушаете Эхо Свободы, Радикальный Подкаст, сегодня ... это эпизод будет о ... меня зовут Володя". Так что-же именно означает, то что меня называют этим именем, и как это связано с анархизмом.

В этом эпизоде Эха Свободы, Радикального Подкаста я обсуждаю то, как проект ВикиМедия меняет наше представление о том, что такое знания... и что-же с этим делать?

It does not matter if you are Anonymous in USA or a Buddhist in China, whether your sexuality is criminalised by “your” government or you speak out against crimes of ‘your” government, if you believe that the state has too much power or demand that it takes responsibility, whether you have been labeled antisemite for criticising Israel and islamophobe for criticising Islam or you are a muslim Jew and are experience hatered in your daily life; We all have something to say and many of us say that on the internet, this vast bastion of free speech and radical expression is now being threatened by the country, which goes around criticising everybody else for not opening up more to their cultural values. USA is trying to pass the bill which will kill the internet by forcing the sites where people communicate to police their users. This time they are not using “protect the children” rhetoric, today the name of the game is “stop the piracy”, but the rules stay the same, and the rules are goal-based, which means do whatever is needed to stop the freedom of speech, because it is so fucking inconvenient.

Please take a moment to sign the petition, but of course do not just sign it and pat yourself on the back as job well done. Petition is action, but not direct action. If we simply ask the government of the US to please stop oppressing the whole world, they just might be polite enough to let this one slide this time. However, if we organise in such a way as to disallow such a form of opression, then the government will have something to contend with, and eventually they will lose, because the government without the people following its orders cannot exist.

So here are some things that you can do personally to explore the world beyond what the state wants you to see:

• Look at Freenet, it is a censorship resistant network, where even the original publisher is unable to take down the content once it's published.
• Use free licences to distribute content that you have created. Check out SF.net for software and Wikimedia Commons for images, audio, and video.
• Support projects leaking the state and corporate crimes.
• Blog and podcast. Talk to the real people, try to use hosts like BayWords, LibSyn, NFSN, etc. Who support the freedom of speech. Echo of Freedom is run on LibSyn.
• Use alternative media to spread the news, don't rely on the mass media for that.

And please remember that the governments should be scared of their populations!

В эпизодах Эха Свободы, Радикального Подкаста я несколько раз затрагивал тему пацифизма. Сейчас я хотел-бы описать почему я думаю что идеи Ганди приминимы в современной России для свержения тоталитарного строя.

I wanted to record this Echo of Freedom, Radical Podcast episode for a rather long time. But somehow the time was never right. And today i have come across I AM A BLACK ATHEIST HOMOSEXUAL FEMALE AMERICAN!!! (sorry for all caps, it's in the original title like that), and i thought that it would be a great time to state my opinion as a response to this.

This, however, is more than a response, it is a new item in my philosophy, which i believe will have the potential to move us closer to the anarchist revolution. It is something which can transform the world if more people will pick this up.

Обычно я стараюсь не разглагольствовать о личных ситуациях в Эхо Свободы, Радикальном Подкасте, но сейчас личная ситуация повергла меня в очень странное состояние, где я осознал многое, что я уже знал, но не в полной мере, о нашем обществе. Нам необходимо убрать ментов из нашего общества.

I have given my support to Anonymous movement (yes, i classify them as a movement even though they disagree); however, a couple of days ago i came across the video on YouTube titled “Anonymous - Operation DarkNet” where one Anonymous boasts about the beginning of the operation to shut down an anonymous hosting provider on Tor. According to the timeline of the events Anonymous has shut down this hosting provider after finding links to the sites that they host and there they came across child pornography.

Now many will ask, what is wrong with shutting down abuse of children. And of course, if these sites were truly the sites of child abuse (and not a play on words done by Anonymous), it seems reasonable. However, to this day Anonymous were claiming to support freedom of speech. For example, when they were attacking capitalist insitutions which are complicit in murder by the nature of paying for wars, Anonymous wouldn't completely destroy them. This (at least to me) means that Anonymous takes free speech and resistance to censorship to the area of a principle which can't be crossed. I believed that they would support freedom of speech even when they disagreed with it, and thus i called them comrades. But here they are shutting down the entire hosting provider (the anonymous hosting provider even) just because they had run into a site that they host.

• The Freenet Project - a read Darknet (not an Opennet like Tor or I2P, although they are also very good).

Here is a good post of somebody on Tor:Attacking the onion is the most pathetic shit anonymous has ever done. It's like burning a city down because you don't like the red light district, it's also hypocrisy in the most obvious way. "We want freedom, but only for people who think like us". The claim that Anonymous is a pluralist society with a plethora of mindsets is falsified by this, and there's no reason to support their actions anymore. And a fair warning: Poking the bear isn't a good idea, people who surfed the onion before this "deep web sooo mysterious" bullshit, which became popular among anonymous, are not exactly the kind of people you want to piss off.*

Но есть движения, не являющиеся анархическими, которые, не смотря на это, продвигают наше общество ближе к анархии. Одно такое движение — это Анонимные (Anonymous), появившиеся относительно недавно (с точки зрения истории), но уже влияющее на политическую раскладку в этом мире. Я поддерживаю их, и я считаю, что как движение, мы должны оказывать поддержку Анонимным, ведь они также как и мы несут пламя борьбы за свободу, за ревенство, за счастье...

In the article PETA to Launch Porn Site the anti-PETA activists have shown their true face. They will not stop at anything, including, but not limited to, lying and bashing the sex workers to get people to agree with them.

I support PETA's attempt to create a pornographic domain, although i oppose such domains in principle for porn sites. We already have VegPorn and Fuck For Forest but we need more environmentally friendly and ethical pornography on the internet.

Анархический порно портал «Freedom Porn»¹, в связи с тем, что 2012 — это год конца света, год выборов в Российской Федерации, и год кооперативности, объявляет о возможном сотрудничестве между анархическим движением и правящей партией Единая Россия в распространении информации о том, что именно народ думает о Путине Владимире Владимировиче.

По этому мы объявляем «анархическое соревнование» под названием «Пошли Путина в Пизду (на хуй)»™ или «ППП(хуй)»™.

Чтобы стать участником нужно, зарегистрировавшись на сайте www.FreedomPorn.org/ отправить самовыражение своего взгляда о Путине Владимире Владимировиче (либо загрузив его на сайт, либо по электронной почте²) навеянное названием соревнования. Мы принимаем все формы самовыражения: фото и рисунки (индивидуальные или выстроенные в галлерею), видео, поэзию текстом и аудио, рассказы текстом и аудио, и тд. Единственные условия — то что вы оправите должно быть как минимум эротическим, а лучше порнографическим по содержанию, и к вы должны быть автором посланного и готовым к распространению под свободной лицензией (позволяющей кому угодно распространять, изменять, и … использовать)³.

Freedom Porn, из‐за отсутствия каких‐либо финансовых средств, не может выдавать призы за участие в этом ППП(хуй), и поэтому все участники будут считаться в равной мере победившими и их призом будет являться массовый просмотр ваших творений на сайте. Мы ценим анонимность, и творчество будет ассоциированно только с тем псевдонимом, который вы сами для себя выберете.

Вне зависимости от вашего участия в данном проекте, вы всеггда можете просто зайти на сайт, для наслождением одним из очень немногих ресурсов с анархической порнографией.

¹ Freedom Porn — это анархический порно портал, существующий на (естественно) некоммерческой основе и распростроняющий порнуху под свободными лицензиями. Этот проект существует с 2008 года и на данный момент там выложили свою порнографию 9 человек, проект не дискриминирует против участников по каким‐либо признакам (включая пол, гендер, сексуальную ориентацию и предпочнения, национальность, социальный статус и тд). In the past, in the episode Анархические Компьютерные Игры (russian version of Echo of Freedom, Radical Podcast), i've talked about the need to create a truly anarchist (non-hierarchical, anti-capitalist, not statist) games. Well now there is Co-opoly, which is striving to be an educational resource for the people how to work cooperatively and not trying to compete with one another. If you have some spare cash, please support them.

I have already talked about anarcho-capitalism in Echo of Freedom, Radical Podcast multiple times. But here i bring many of my critiques into a single monologue, which i believe is quite important knowing that i did come into anarchist movement with some capitalist ideas.

Please keep in mind three things:
1. Anarcho-Capitalists are not really anarchists because they do not support a truly non-hierarchical society.
2. Anarcho-Capitalists do support freedom, as much as we would like to say otherwise, and they can be a gateway to anarchism.
3. Anarcho-Capitalists are as close to anarchism as State Socialists are. As Bakunin has put it “freedom without Socialism is privilege and injustice... Socialism without freedom is slavery and brutality” thus those two movements mirror each other.

Today i speak about a not so well known Xenophilia and about even lesser known Allophilia. I argue that it is the latter consept that should be strived towards by anarchists, and should be nurtured in our movement. Xenophilia is just a reaction to xenophobia, and there is a very good explample of British Left which has allied itself with right wing leaders partially due to xenophilia.

I admit that i am a capitalist sellout in this episode of Echo of Freedom, Radical Podcast. I live in this capitalist system, and i must participate in many hierarchical spectacles which go on. But we can use capitalist system to move the society towards anarchist society, here i discuss this idea.
